A group of delegations led by the President of the International Institute of Horticulture of Korea, Professor Yong-Beom Lee arrived at the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State Agrarian University.

Husniddin Pardaev, head of the Samarkand branch of Tashkent State Agrarian University, told Zarnews that the meeting focused on the project of potato seed multiplication project on the basis of innovative technologies to be established at the branch at the expense of a Korean grant.  - The members of the Korean delegation were presented with the facilities for the construction of in-vitro laboratories and greenhouses to be built for the project, the surrounding buildings and the AKIS and its territorial boundaries, which are planned to be built.

 The production of potato seeds will be improved soon in Samarkand.  Every year, we make a significant contribution to the development of agriculture by growing our own imported potato seeds. "
