The governor of Samarkand region adopted a resolution "On the establishment of basic schools which specialized in in-depth teaching of chemistry and biology on the basis of secondary schools" on March 16, 2021.

According to it, , basic schools which  specialized in in-depth teaching of chemistry and biology will be established on the basis secondary school № 22 in Bulungur district, school №51 in Ishtikhan, school № 66 in Kattakurgan district, school № 22  in Koshrabat, school № 45in Akdarya, school №33 in Samarkand district, school №30 in Taylak and total 14 schools in Samarkand.  was determined from September 1, 2021.

 Introduce modern methods of teaching and assessing pupils' knowledge, including the widespread use of digital learning tools and distance learning, as well as focusing the educational process on the formation of general professional skills, ensuring that curricula meet the requirements of the digital economy.  The main task of the basic schools is to develop cooperation with government agencies and network enterprises.

 Students to the new schools will be admitted to specialized classes in the prescribed manner from the 2021/2022 academic year.  In addition, these institutions will hire highly qualified teachers.
