A “Festival of Professions” was held in Samarkand on the occasion of May 5 – “Day of Professions and Labor’.
This event created an opportunity to expand the knowledge and imagination of young people in choosing a profession, to familiarize them with areas that are in high demand in the labor mark. Adiz Boboev, the governor of the region, participated in the festival and had a conversation with young people. It was noted that today, mastering modern professions and becoming qualified personnel is one of the priority tasks facing every young person. Today, 60 technical schools are operating in the region, where more than 130 modern professions and specialties are being trained. This event served to bring these opportunities to the general public and to guide young people in choosing a profession in accordance with their interests and abilities. Exhibitions and practical demonstrations were organized as part of the event on more than 20 modern and highly demanded professions. The festival provided participants with detailed information about various sectors - industry, services, information technology, medicine, and entrepreneurship. During the festival, young people directly talked with experts in the professions they were interested in. Such events play an important role in determining their professional direction.
