Adiz Boboev, an acting governor of Samarkand region held a meeting with officials of the Chinese limited liability company “YAXING GUOJI MAOYI”.

Investors presented a project worth 28 million US dollars, which is planned to be implemented in the Akdaryo district. The company plans to produce soft drinks, washing powder, modern electric scooters with 2, 3 and 4 wheels, as well as street lamps powered by solar panels. It is planned to allocate 16.5 million dollars in the first stage, and the enterprise will be launched in February 2026. However, for the successful launch of production, it is necessary to build a highway leading to the Dahbed massif, where the Urgut FEZ branch is located in the Akdaryo district. Investors appealed to the head of the region on this issue. Adiz Boboev instructed the officials of the Highways Department to promptly resolve the issue and noted that Chinese entrepreneurs would be provided with assistance in all matters within the framework of the law. The parties also discussed the stages of project implementation and determined further steps for cooperation. With the launch of production, 40 new jobs will be created in the region, which will make a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the district.
