It is aimed at preparing for the Samarkand summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which is being held in September of this year

As part of the "Samarkand rukhi"  (Spirit of Samarkand) project, the "International Symposium of Sculptors" will be held in Samarkand from August 10 to September 10.

7 foreign (Russia, Iran, India, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan) and 6 local sculptors made of Zarband marble, metal at this symposium, which is organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan, the Association of Artists of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, and the Samarkand Regional Government. and they create wonderful sculptural examples in the material.

This international symposium of sculptors, which is being organized for the first time in Uzbekistan, will be held in the "Vatanparvar" park of the city of Samarkand.
