Discussions were also held on the World Heritage site “Samarkand - Crossroads of Cultures”.

As noted at the session, it is expected that in the near future documents on the World Heritage sites “Samarkand - Crossroads of Cultures” and “Western Tien Shan” are expected to be published by the World Heritage. The session recognized the achievements in preserving rare universal sites in Uzbekistan. The session expressed its views on the issues of preserving the monuments of Samarkand for future generations and improving their surroundings, and identified current tasks for cooperation in this regard.
