Adiz Boboev, the governor of Samarkand region, held a meeting with representatives of the Chinese company “TIANNENG GROUP”.

During the negotiations with the company's executive director Yang Jianfen, the prospects for mutual cooperation and promising areas for implementing investment projects in the region were discussed. At the meeting, Yang Jianfen emphasized that favorable conditions are being created for the activities of foreign investors in the Samarkand region today. He noted that the reforms being implemented in the country and the open investment policy are creating a solid foundation for the implementation of large and long-term business projects in the regions. As a vivid example, Yang Jianfen mentioned that his partner, the head of the Zhejiang Junsheng Energy enterprise, implemented an investment project for the production of plastic products in  Samarkand region in March 2025. Yang Jianfen also expressed interest in contributing to the development of the economy of Uzbekistan, noting that the company is currently studying the market of the Samarkand region, analyzing its needs and considering priority areas for promising investments. In turn, the regional governor, Adiz Boboev, noted that foreign investors will be provided with comprehensive practical assistance within the framework of current legislation. In particular, he expressed his readiness to assist in the implementation of promising initiatives aimed at developing industry, creating new jobs, and expanding the region's export potential. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to develop mutually beneficial cooperation and continue bilateral dialogue.
