
Members of the Samarkand regional delegation, led by the acting governor of Samarkand region, Adiz Boboev, visited the Italian city of Milan and got acquainted with the activities of manufacturing enterprises and business entities.
The delegation members visited the MADE Competence Center Industry 4.0. The MADE Competence Center Industry 4.0, located in Milan, is a leading center that supports small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the industrial sector in digital transformation. Its main tasks are the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies, research and innovation projects, personnel training and training courses, digital solutions and increasing productivity. The head of the region noted that the establishment of such a center in Samarkand region is one of the important tasks of today. Adiz Boboev, who noted that such centers correspond to the reforms implemented by the Head of State in recent years to introduce modern trends in management, discussed the prospects for establishing such centers in Samarkand. As part of the visit to the center, an agreement was reached on the implementation of innovative production strategies, training on “Smart Factory” and digital modeling, diagnostics and creation of Industry 4.0 road maps in small and medium-sized enterprises, technology transfer and human resource development, seminars, conferences, and practical training. A memorandum of co-understanding was signed between the Samarkand regional administration and the Italian MADE Competencye Center Industry 4.0. Through this cooperation, the opportunities for forming a modern industrial ecosystem in Samarkand, digitizing local production, and training a new generation of specialists will improve.
