


Particularly, a conversation was organized with the officials of the Malaysian Islamic Tourism Center, where issues of exchanging experience and developing mutual cooperation in the field of serving Muslim tourists were discussed.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to such areas as providing services that meet the needs of Muslim tourists, creating comfortable and necessary conditions for them, in particular, the catering system, transport services, and the effective organization of pilgrimage tourism. The regional governor made a number of proposals in this regard aimed at further increasing the tourism potential of Samarkand. In particular, work was focused on systematically organizing pilgrimages to holy sites in the region and bringing the quality of services to international standards. The Malaysian side also emphasized the need to intensify cooperation in the development of Muslim tourism, expressing its readiness to exchange experience and implement joint projects. At the end of the negotiations, the parties reached mutual agreements on the effective organization of services for Muslim tourists. This cooperation will play an important role in Samarkand's future transformation into one of the centers of international pilgrimage tourism.
