


Tibor Navrachic, who is Hungarian Minister of State Administration and Territorial Development, is currently visiting our country, as well as he arrived in Samarkand.
At the meeting with regional governor Adiz Boboev, it was noted that close cooperation and friendly relations between the two countries are developing steadily and are reaching a new level. Special emphasis was placed on the fact that these processes are the result of friendly relations based on mutual trust between the leaders of our countries. During the conversation, the issues of implementing the Hungarian “Smart City” model in Samarkand, increasing management efficiency, modernization of public administration, and digitization were touched upon. Adiz Boboev touched upon the transformation of Samarkand into a large city with a population of 1 million, the comprehensive development of the city, and the creation of favorable conditions for the population. The importance of implementing the Hungarian “Smart City” model in Samarkand and exchanging experience in the reconstruction of historical monuments here were also discussed. Tibor Navrachic supported the proposals of the head of the region and expressed his readiness to cooperate in these areas. At the meeting, the Minister of Public Administration and Territorial Development of Hungary, Tibor Navrachic, also expressed his proposals on establishing sister city relations between one of the cities and districts of the Samarkand region and the cities of Hungary. It was agreed that joint work would be carried out in this regard. At the end of the meeting, preliminary agreements were reached on organizing a business forum with the participation of entrepreneurs in Hungary and implementing a number of joint projects.
