Adiz Boboev, the governor of the region, held a meeting with representatives of the Shaanxi delegation visiting from the People's Republic of China.

The delegation was headed by Li Xun , vice governor of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government . The parties noted that, at the initiative of the heads of the two states, mutual relations have reached a new level. It was noted that as part of strengthening cooperation, business forums were held twice in Shaanxi and Samarkand with the participation of entrepreneurs. As a result of mutual cooperation, 88 agreements were signed last year alone and dozens of joint projects were implemented. The next third forum is planned to be held in Shaanxi Province in May of this year. It is noted that Shaanxi is developing at a rapid pace. According to the results of 2025, the volume of GDP in the region amounted to 366 trillion yuan.  During the negotiations, issues of developing cooperation in the trade and economic, educational, socio-cultural and tourism sectors were discussed. Issues of student exchange, organization of training programs for civil servants, holding seminars for farmers and implementation of new joint initiatives were also considered. At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand practical cooperation and strengthen interregional ties.
