Adiz Boboev, the governor of Samarkand region, held online negotiations with the marshal of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship Lukasz Smolka and his deputy Witold Kozlowski.

The issues of further expanding cooperation between the two regions were discussed in detail during the conversation. In particular, views were exchanged on the prospects for strengthening cooperation in the trade, economic and cultural spheres, and bringing interregional relations to a new level. The online meeting was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Poland Amirsaid Azamkhodjayev. The parties also considered the issues of organizing the upcoming visit of the delegation led by Lukasz Smolka to the Samarkand region. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue close contacts in the future to develop mutually beneficial cooperation and implement practical projects.
