


Adiz Boboev, the governor of Samarkand region, met with Vitaly Kulak who is the deputy Minister of Agriculture and food of the Republic of Belarus.
The parties discussed the development of direct production ties and the implementation of joint agricultural projects in Minsk. The Samarkand region proposed expanding the supply of pedigree cattle, importing meat products, establishing cooperation in the fields of selection and genetics. The companies “Chorva Sut Servis” and “Marokand MIT” expressed their readiness to invest in livestock complexes in Grodno region, and subsequently introduce Belarusian experience and technologies in Uzbekistan. The issues of establishing joint ventures for the production of dairy products, localization of baby food products with the participation of the “Bellakt” company, and expanding the export of dried fruits, nuts and deeply processed products from Samarkand to the Belarusian market were also discussed. Special attention was also paid to the supply of Belarusian agricultural machinery and the establishment of service services. At the end of the meeting, the regional governor, Adiz Boboyev, invited the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Belarus to visit the Samarkand region and familiarize himself with investment opportunities. The governor of the regional expressed its readiness to provide the necessary assistance and support to Belarusian partners.
