Adiz Boboev, the governor of Samarkand region, held a meeting with Bavarian State Minister for Europe and International Affairs Eric Beiswenger as part of the visit of the German delegation to Uzbekistan.

During the negotiations, the German side expressed great interest in developing cooperation on a large scale. In particular, Eric Beiswenger paid special attention to the issue of personnel training, noting that Bavaria currently has a high need for qualified specialists. In this regard, the possibilities of establishing joint educational programs and vocational training centers aimed at training personnel in accordance with German standards were discussed. In turn, Samarkand regional governor Adiz Boboev expressed his readiness to provide comprehensive support to Bavarian investors. It was noted that Samarkand has all the necessary conditions and infrastructure for implementing new business initiatives and creating a favorable investment climate. The meeting also separately considered the prospects for developing the tourism sector. Taking into account the rich historical heritage of Samarkand and the high economic potential of Bavaria, the parties discussed the possibilities of increasing the flow of tourists and implementing joint projects in the field of tourism. The implementation of the initiatives announced at the meeting will make a significant contribution not only to strengthening economic ties, but also to the development of humanitarian dialogue between the regions.
