Adiz Boboev, the governor of the region, held a meeting with Gabriella Limberis, an international relations specialist at the prestigious American business association Bay Area Council.

These negotiations were a logical continuation of the dialogue that began during the recent trip of the regional head Adiz Boboev to the United States. The representative of the organization responsible for international cooperation visited the Samarkand region with the aim of in-depth study of the economic potential of the region, identifying specific areas of cooperation, and preparing a detailed report for American investors. The meeting considered issues of developing cooperation in the fields of tourism, industry, and agriculture. The parties discussed in detail the export potential of the Samarkand region, the activities of logistics chains, and the favorable conditions created for foreign investors. In order to practically consolidate the agreements reached, regional governor Adiz Boboev proposed organizing a visit of American investors to the Samarkand region. This will allow them to get acquainted with the investment opportunities of the region firsthand. The Bay Area Council was founded in 1945 in California and plays an important role in the economic development of the San Francisco Bay Area. The Council includes the world's leading IT companies, such as Google, Apple, Meta and Chevron, as well as large business structures. Today, the organization unites more than 375 large companies.The parties agreed to develop joint initiatives in detail and create the necessary conditions for organizing a visit of an American business delegation to Samarkand at the end of the meeting.
