A solemn ceremony dedicated to the Defenders of the Fatherland Day was held at Yoshlar markazi( Youth Center) in Samarkand.
First, the congratulatory message of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Defenders of the Fatherland Day was read out.
During the event, a group of militaries were awarded state awards, certificates of honor of the regional administration and other titles for exemplary service in the field.
The performances of the artists gave the participants of the event a high and festive mood.
