An organizational issue has been considered at a special session of the Samarkand city council of people's peputies in the government of Samarkand city.

Oblakulov Boburmirzo Salomovich, former mayor of Samarkand city, was relieved of his post on the basis of his own application.

At the session, deputies approved the candidacy of Umarov Fazliddin Karimovich for the post of mayor of Samarkand city.

Prior to this appointment, Fazliddin Karimovich served as first deputy chairman of the state tax committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan - director of the cadastral Agency under the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
