Next year, the XVII World Fire and Rescue Championship among men and the VIII World Championship among women will be held in our country.
In this regard, an international conference is being held in Tashkent with the participation of officials of the International Federation of Fire and Rescue Sports and representatives of member states.
Today, the participants of the international conference visited Samarkand.
The guests were met at the Samarkand railway station by the deputy governor of the region B.Nurullaev.
The guests visited the mausoleum of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, Mirzo Ulugbek Observatory, Khoja Daniyar Complex and a number of other sacred sites.
- Fire and rescue sports is not just a sport, it is a place of human life, - said Andrey Kalinin, Executive Director of the International Federation of Fire and Rescue. The organization of the World Cup and other issues are being discussed. Our visit to Samarkand is not in vain, the women's world championship is planned to be held in Samarkand. During the visit, in addition to studying the conditions here, we also got acquainted with the sights of the eternal city. The city in the eyes of the world is truly unique. I think our competitions will be memorable in this country.
