At present, the delegation of Samarkand region headed by Erkinjon Turdimov, the head of the region, is in Kazan, the capital of Tataristan, and is participating in the III Forum according to Uzbekistan-Russia interregional cooperation.

The program of the forum is very intense - a meeting of Uzbekistan-Russia and Russia-Uzbekistan business councils, a plenary session, panel sessions on various areas of cooperation, business negotiations.

Representatives of the regional administration of Samarkand region, regional investment, industry and foreign trade department and the regional regional department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as more than 20 businessmen and entrepreneurs are working on establishing mutually beneficial cooperation relations with the regions of the Russian Federation.

For two days, representatives of our region held negotiations with Russian businessmen on bilateral cooperation in the fields of medicine, education, textile and light industry.

During the delegation's visit, agreements worth 202 million US dollars, including 152 million US dollars in investment and 50 million US dollars in export, were worked out.
