Erkinjon Turdimov, the governor of Samarkand region, has held a meeting with Beybut Atamkulov, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to our country today.

Prospects of cooperation in the fields of trade and economy, energy, agriculture, chemistry and mechanical engineering were discussed there.

The ambassador said that carpets and carpet products, dry fruits produced in Samarkand are very popular in the market of Kazakhstan, and touched on the issue of increasing the volume of exports. Finally, it was stated that implementation of promising projects in a number of fields is beneficial for both sides.
