Military delegation led by Minister of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic lieutenant general Baktibek Bekbolotov got acquainted with the historical sites of the ancient and modern city of Samarkand during his official visit to Uzbekistan.

The guests were welcomed at the newly built Samarkand International Airport

 by the governor of the region Erkinjon Turdimov and the leadership of the Central Military District Command. The members of the delegation got acquainted with the archeological monuments and architectural monuments with a history of almost 3,000 years, which are always preserved in the young Samarkand and have been respected by our people for centuries.

 During the trip, they witnessed the development of the city, which has ancient and magnificent architectural monuments, medieval towers with blue domes, immortal monuments and the creativity of our ancestors.

 During the visit to Samarkand, the military delegation also visited the Central Military District, where they got acquainted with the modern conditions created there.

 In particular, he visited the history building, information technology classrooms and combat training classrooms, where he saw the strength of our national army growing in all fields.

 At the end of the visit, the guests were presented with souvenirs from the district command.
