Adiz Boboev, the governor of Samarkand region, held a meeting with representatives of the international holding “PROGRESS GROUP”, one of the leaders in the field of prefabricated reinforced concrete production equipment from Germany.
At the meeting, representatives of the holding presented a project for the construction of a modern housing plant with a capacity of 150 thousand square meters of housing per year. The project is based on energy-saving technologies for quickly built houses. Prefabricated reinforced concrete panels do not require plastering, which significantly speeds up the construction process and reduces costs. The head of the region emphasized the provision of practical assistance to investors, noting the high demand for quality housing in the region. The governor of the region especially emphasized the need to support the creation of new jobs for the local population and establish a system for training qualified personnel who will be able to operate high-tech equipment at the new plant. Representatives of the German company inspected several sites in the Jomboy district. To implement large-scale production, investors will need 8 hectares of land. Currently, relevant specialists are assigned to foreign partners, who will promptly provide all the necessary technical and legal explanations. After that, practical work will begin.
