An extraordinary session of Akdaryo district council of people's deputies was held today.

Adiz Boboev, the governor of the region, participated in it and touched upon the work being carried out on the socio-economic development of Akdaryo district, the unused opportunities to improve the living standards of the population, ensure employment, and the failure of responsible leaders to organize work in a coordinated manner. The session considered organizational issues. Sherzod Kudratov was relieved of his duties as a mayor of the district  at his own request. The head of the region proposed to appoint Mahmudov Temur Asomidinovich as a mayor of the Akdaryo district. The candidate was approved by the deputies. T. Mahmudov, prior to his appointment, had been working as the head of Samarkand region on poverty reduction and employment department.
