On the occasion of the holy Ramadan holiday, Adiz Boboev, who is an acting governor of the region, visited the house of the late Academician Botirkhon Valikhujaev,who was a scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, holder of the Order “For Great Services”, and met his wife Khadicha Vafoeva. The meeting discussed the grace and freshness of the holy month of Ramadan, glorifying human dignity, strengthening the atmosphere of mutual respect and friendship.

The path traveled by Academician Botirkhon Valikhujaev was remembered. – “I am very happy with today's attention, we are grateful that we are always in the attention of our state, our people, our work is appreciated, and veterans like us are honored, “- said Khadicha Vafoeva.

The head of the region also visited Muslihiddin Muhiddinov’s, who is a professor at Samarkand State University, Doctor of Philology. Of course, looking after the elderly during the Eid holidays is one of the noble values of our people. Therefore, it is important for us to honor and respect the enlightened, and receive their prayers on festive days, - said the head of the region Adiz Boboev at the meeting.
