A delegation led by Adiz Boboev, the governor of Samarkand region,  paid an official visit to the Republic of Belarus.

A meeting was held with the Chairman of the Board of Belinvestbank OJSC Oleg Kozaredov in Minsk. The prospects for expanding investment and business cooperation were discussed. Samarkand region presented promising areas for implementing joint projects in the areas of animal husbandry, textile and furniture industry, food production, agricultural processing, tourism and healthcare at the meeting. Special attention was also paid to the possibilities of Belinvestbank to finance joint projects, including providing preferential loans, leasing and financing the supply of equipment. At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in further developing mutually beneficial cooperation and implementing joint investment initiatives.
