Adiz Boboev, the governor of the region, held a meeting with the leadership of “MATRADE” - Malaysia Foreign Trade Development Corporation.

A conversation was held with Reyezal Merikan Naina Merikan , the chairman of the corporation, during the negotiations. The parties discussed the prospects for expanding trade and economic relations, supporting exports and exporting products to international markets. Particular attention was paid to the issues of holding joint events, such as organizing international exhibitions and business forums. It was also proposed to organize multidisciplinary trade and investment missions in Tashkent and Samarkand with the participation of leading Malaysian entrepreneurs. The Malaysian side expressed interest in developing cooperation and expressed its readiness to assist regional companies in introducing them to the markets of Southeast Asia. The meeting was held in a constructive and working spirit. As a result, agreements were reached to further strengthen cooperation and implement joint projects.
