The chairman of the Supreme Court of Korea is in Samarkand

A delegation led by the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Korea Kim Myon Su has arrived in Samarkand.

 During the meeting with the governor of Samarkand region Erkinjon Turdimov, it was noted that friendly relations between the Uzbek and Korean peoples have a centuries-old history.  In particular, the reception of the Korean ambassador is reflected in the ancient murals in the Afrosiyob Museum in Samarkand.

 Today, cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea in trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres is strengthening.  It was noted that the visit of the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Korea Kim Myon Su to our country will serve to further develop and continue the relations in the legal field on a large scale.

 Kim Myon Su thanked the governor for the Uzbek hospitality and warm welcome.

 - My visit to Uzbekistan is being very effective, - said the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Korea Kim Myon Su  - In Tashkent, we met with the heads of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan, reached agreements on cooperation, and learned about the results of judicial reforms in your country in recent years.

 The Korean guests visited the courthouse in Taylak district.  Here, judges and court staff were introduced to the opportunities and facilities created for citizens.  The guests were especially impressed by the effective use of modern information technologies in the building.

 During the visit to Samarkand, the delegation of the Korean Supreme Court visited the historical monuments and sights of the city.
