Today, a delegation led by the governor of Lombardy region in Italy, Attilio Fontana, visited Samarkand.

The guests were met by the head of the region, Adiz Boboev, at the Samarkand railway station. According to the program of the visit,  Attilio Fontana is going to meet with the head of the region and discuss the prospects for cooperation between the two regions. The Samarkand-Lombardy trade, economic, cultural and tourism forum will also be held. The guests will visit ancient and interesting places in Samarkand.
