Boxer Nigina Uktamova from Ishtikhon district became the world champion
The World Youth Boxing Championship was held in Kielce, Poland.
At the championship in the weight category of 54 kg Nigina Uktamova defended the honor of our country and defeated all rivals. In the decisive final battle, she defeated Kristina Lakichuk of Ukraine 4: 1.
Nigina Uktamova was born in Ishtikhon district of Samarkand region. He is currently a first-year student at the Faculty of Physical Culture of Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute.
