


An important infrastructure project was completed and put into operation in the Ishtikhan district of the Samarkand region.
The 4-kilometer “Afrosiyob” bypass connecting the district center with the town of Mitan, as well as connecting to the M-37 international highway, and a modern bridge with a length of 73 and a width of 15 meters were built. The opening ceremony of these facilities was attended by Adiz Boboyev, the governor of the region, Bahriddin Valiyev, the first deputy prosecutor general of the Republic, representatives of the district community, and the elderly. The event discussed the large-scale construction work being carried out in the regions, the modernization of road infrastructure, the creation of more comfortable conditions for the population, and the priority tasks of ensuring road safety. As noted, 40 billion As a result of this project, which was implemented at a cost of 100,000 soums, traffic jams in the center of Ishtikhan district are expected to decrease by up to 40 percent. In addition, a convenient and safe environment will be created to prevent traffic accidents, regulate and accelerate the movement of transit cargo. The new road and bridge will not only ease the flow of traffic, but also create greater convenience for the daily commute of residents. As a result, citizens will be able to reach their destinations faster. As part of the construction work, bicycle and pedestrian paths 3.5 km long and 2 meters wide, specially adapted sidewalks for citizens with disabilities, 155 night lighting lights powered by solar panels, and 2 modern bus stops were built. At the same time, safe and fast delivery of vehicles and transit cargo to the districts of Kushrabot, Kattakurgan, and Payarik will be ensured. At the event, builders who actively participated in the construction of a modern bypass and bridge were awarded certificates of appreciation and souvenirs. The new infrastructure facilities put into operation will serve to increase the economic activity of the region and improve the logistics system.
