A solemn event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the professional holiday of law enforcement officers was held in Samarkand city.

The governor of the region E. Turdimov expressed his sincere wishes to the brave and loyal, patriotic guardians of the country, who have dedicated their lives to such a noble and noble cause as maintaining peace and tranquility of the country.  The memory of the selfless employees who died in the line of duty was also commemorated.

 In accordance with the Decree of the President, 1 employee of the regional system of internal affairs was awarded the medal "Courage" and 2 employees were awarded the medal "For loyal services".  In addition, by order of the Minister of Internal Affairs, 1 officer was awarded the special rank of lieutenant colonel, 1 officer was awarded the special rank of major, 26 officers were awarded various departmental badges of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, certificates of honor, commemorative and monetary awards.
