Greco-Roman wrestler from Bulungur Mominjon Abdullaev won a gold medal at the license tournament for the Asian region on April 9 in Almaty.

He had received a ticket to the XXXII Summer Olympic Games.  At the event organized at the Youth Center in Samarkand, the governor of the region E. Turdimov presented a certificate to his parents and teacher for this result, which provided him with 50 million soums.

 Nigina Uktamova from Ishtikhon and Sitora Turdibekova from Bulungur, who won a gold medal at the World Youth Boxing Championship in Kelse, Poland, also took part in the awarding ceremony.

 N., who has made a worthy contribution to the development of physical culture and mass sports in the region.  It was noted that Uktamova received an initial payment for a car and housing, and Sitora Turdibekova was awarded a certificate worth 25 million soums.

 The parents of the champions, who received a letter of thanks from the governor, thanked the local government officials and coaches for their help in achieving this result.
