Adiz Boboev, the governor of the region, held a meeting with Dmitry Donsov, co-founder of BITUM LLC in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The parties discussed the prospects for establishing bitumen production in the region. In particular, attention was paid to the issue of producing petroleum bitumen and modern binders for road construction. Dmitry Donsov suggested starting work at a ready-made production site. He noted that this would significantly reduce the time it takes to launch the enterprise and is of great importance for further expansion of production processes. The BITUM LLC plant will participate as a technological partner in the project. It is one of the leading enterprises in Russia, with an annual revenue of more than 13.7 billion rubles. The head of the region supported the initiative and noted the need for high-quality road materials. Along with the organization of production, an agreement was reached on the exchange of experience. Russian specialists will train local designers to work on the innovative “Superpave” system. This system allows for the preparation of high-quality asphalt-concrete mixtures. The implementation of this project is of great importance in strengthening the industrial potential of the Samarkand region and providing the road construction industry with the necessary materials.
