Recently, the Uzbek Agency for Cinematography and the Samarkand regional administration signed a memorandum on the shooting of a feature film in the historical genre dedicated to the life and work of Bahodir Yalangtosh.

Yesterday, film director Jahongir Ahmedov and screenwriter Hasan Tashkhodjaev visited Samarkand to gather resources for a new film, which is expected to be shot, and to get acquainted with the materials about the life of Bahodir Yalangtosh.

 The filmmakers began their work by visiting the tomb of Bahodir Yalangtosh and his elder Mahdumi Azam.  Then a meeting was held at Samarkand State University with the participation of regional historians, representatives of art and culture, writers and journalists.
