Adiz Boboev, an acting governor of Samarkand region, held a meeting with representatives of the Austrian company “ILF Consulting Engineers”.

The stages of the project to increase energy production efficiency in the region were discussed. In May of this year, an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the company “ILF Consulting Engineers” on strategic cooperation, which provides for comprehensive measures to increase energy efficiency. Within the framework of this agreement, relevant measures will be carried out, including the preparation of project documentation, energy audits, technical supervision and equipment maintenance. It is also planned to implement energy efficiency improvement projects in 60 social sector facilities in 14 regions in 2025-2026. In particular, in Bulungur district, the specified work will be carried out at 4 facilities under the project - a kindergarten, a school, a polyclinic and a Youth Center building. Based on the results of the energy audit, the company's specialists are developing concepts for improving the energy efficiency of buildings. They determine the most optimal technologies for repair and construction. This takes into account the construction materials market of Uzbekistan, climatic conditions and other factors. At the meeting, the head of the region paid special attention to the issue of heating and cooling systems and emphasized that the highest consumption of electricity falls on the summer months. Representatives of the ILF Consulting Engineers company noted that all the proposals and recommendations made will certainly be taken into account in the implementation of the project. The parties expressed their interest in continuing practical cooperation in the future.
