Erkinjon Turdimov who is the governor of Samarkand region has received the delegation led by the president of the US Utah state senate, Stuart Adams.

The delegation also included the director of the Utah World Trade Center, official representatives of the Baskerville Institute and businessmen. Prospective directions of trade-economic and investment cooperation were discussed at the meeting. Finally, it was agreed to establish cooperation in social and humanitarian spheres, in particular, allocation of grants, training and language teaching, tourism and business.
