Every year, on March 8 - International Women's Day, advanced women from various fields are given special respect and honor.

A festive event was organized in our region on this occasion. It was attended by women who work effectively in various fields, bright mothers who make a worthy contribution to the upbringing of youth and the strength of families based on their life experience, and talented girls. At the event, the governor of Samarkand region, Adiz Boboev, sincerely congratulated all women on the holiday and expressed his best wishes. The head of the region recognized that the role of women in socio-political life is great, they occupy a worthy place in all areas and contribute to the development of our Motherland. On the occasion of the holiday, 19 of our sisters and mothers, who have been setting an example for others with their dedication and initiative, were awarded the “Mutabar ayol” (Respected Woman” badge. A group of women were also awarded certificates of honor from the regional governor.
