The festive events have begun early in the morning with a visit to the mausoleum of Sahibkiron Amir Temur today.

Adiz Boboev, an acting governor of the region,  and the regional and city public recited the Quran at the mausoleum of Amir Temur. After that, representatives of regional and city authorities, military personnel, law enforcement agencies, and the general public laid flowers at the monument to Sahibiron Amir Temur. On the occasion of Samarkand City Day, various cultural and educational events, concert programs, exhibitions, and sports competitions will be organized in the city throughout the day.
