A festive event was organized in the Samarkand region to mark October 1st – Teachers’ and Mentors’ Day.

During the event, Adiz Boboev, the governor of the region, extended his sincere congratulations to representatives of the education sector on their professional holiday. He specifically acknowledged their selfless, honorable, and responsible work in educating and nurturing the younger generation. Discussions also covered the outcomes of reforms in the education sector, as well as the achievements of young people in fields such as science, sports, and others. At the celebration, a group of active and proactive teachers, along with veterans who have contributed effectively across various areas, were honored with certificates of appreciation and festive gifts from the regional administration. The event continued with a concert program featuring prominent artists from the region.
