Project name: Modernization of Samarkand infrastructure

Selection of main contractor for execution of construction and electromechanical works for bridges and tunnels construction

1. The Republic of Uzbekistan (hereinafter referred to as the “Borrower”) received funding from the Abu Dhabi Development Fund (“the Fund”) in the form of a loan to cover the costs of the “Modernization of Samarkand Infrastructure” Project.
2. Khokimiyat of Samarkand region invites eligible bidders to submit expressions of interest in the above works. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures established in the guidelines of the Development Institutions of the members of Coordination Group for the Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services and any bidders may participate from eligible countries.
3. A complete set of bidding documents in English and/or Russian can be obtained by interested bidders by submitting a written application to the below email address.

4. Bids shall be valid for 90 days after the bid opening and be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a bank guarantee in the amount of USD 1,800,000, or a freely convertible currency equivalent.
5. Bids can be delivered to the address below latest by December 17, 2021 until 4.00 p.m. (Local Time). Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders wishing to participate in this process. Late bids will be rejected. The bid packages will be opened at 4.05 p.m. (Local time) on December 17, 2021 at the following address:
