The next meeting of the Public Advisory Council of Entrepreneurs under the regional government was held at the “Sakhari” LLC in Samarkand.

It was discussed the opportunities for the development of small and medium-sized businesses and the issues of further improving the business environment.The participants of the meeting first got acquainted with the processes of manufacturing electrical products at “Sakhari” LLC, new projects being implemented at the enterprise, and the presentation of the Samarkand branch of “Oriental University”. The meeting heard proposals on supporting small and medium-sized businesses in the industrial sector, strengthening cooperation between higher educational institutions and business entities, training personnel, and increasing the efficiency of scientific research. A report was also heard on the project to equip the Samarkand Regional Television and Radio Channel studio with modern LED monitors and lighting, and to increase the number of television programs aimed at improving the business environment in the region, financed by the council. The meeting set new tasks for improving the activities of the Public Advisory Council of Entrepreneurs. After that, two Samarkand entrepreneurs were accepted as members of the Turon Academy of Sciences, and a group of council members who have been contributing to the development of entrepreneurship were awarded certificates of appreciation from the regional administration. At the end of the meeting, the head of the region, Adiz Boboev, spoke and gave recommendations on further improving the work of the council and expanding its participation in solving the problems of entrepreneurs.
