The center for content preparation for Mass Media under the Presidential Administration and the UNESCO Office in Uzbekistan have launched a seminar-training on the topic of

“Strategic Communications and Access to Information” for heads of information services of state bodies and organizations operating in the region . During the event, topical issues related to strategic communications, access to information, effective cooperation with the media, freedom of information and the modern media environment will be discussed. The seminar-training is being conducted by the UNESCO Office in Uzbekistan, led by international experts - Dr. Joan Barata Mir, an internationally recognized expert in the field of free expression, freedom of mass information, media norms and procedures, Dr. Serhiy Shturkhetsky, a media expert with extensive experience in the field of mass information and communications, and national expert Madina Tursunova. The seminar will serve to further improve the professional knowledge and skills of information service leaders, implement modern communication methods, and ensure effective information exchange between government agencies and the public.
