It is going on establishing a tourist village Konigil in Samarkand region.

 According to the concept of creating this tourist village, an 800-meter-long ring road will be built on an area of 3 hectares.  As a result, tourists can walk along the Siyob Canal and relax in nature.

 Also, work is underway to establish family guest houses, new craft centers, animation centers that reflect local traditions in the region.  Conditions are being created for the development of ecotourism, agritourism, gastronomic tourism.  A bakery for world-famous Samarkand bread master classes will be set up in the region.

 At present, the pottery production center has been launched.  The building where the rice mill is located is nearing completion of renovations.  Once the historic appearance of the rice mill is restored, guests will be shown the process of making rice.
